Really impressed with this little engraver! The two-speed settings are perfect - I use low for delicate jewellery work and high when doing wood engravings. The USB charging is so convenient compared to my old battery-operated one. Only slight gripe is the lack of included bits, but that's easily solved.

Proper decent bit of kit for the price. Used it on copper, hardwood and even ceramic tiles with no issues. The overload protection gives peace of mind when working for longer periods. Only thing missing is a proper storage case - currently using an old pencil case!

As a jewellery maker, I appreciate how precise the tip is. Did some beautiful filigree work on copper with it. The USB charging is dead convenient, though I'd pay extra for a fast-charge version.

The two-speed control is brilliant for switching between delicate detailing and heavier engraving work. Used it on a silver bracelet and it handled like a dream. Only wish the battery lasted a tad longer on the high setting.

As a beginner, I was worried this might be too technical but it's actually dead easy to use. The aluminium body feels premium and the grip's comfortable. Did a lovely personalised wine glass engraving on my first try! Battery life could be better but charges quickly.

Tried engraving my wife's wedding ring - worked a treat on the platinum! Motor's powerful but the vibration is minimal. Packaging was basic though, just a plastic sleeve.

Bought this for my model-making hobby and it's been brilliant. The lightweight design means I can work for hours without hand cramps. Motor's surprisingly powerful for its size - handles balsa wood and plastic no problem. Wish the speed switch was a bit more accessible though.

Proper chuffed with how lightweight this is - didn't get wrist fatigue even after 2 hours of wood carving. The aluminium body stays cool too. Bit noisy on full speed though, might scare the cat!
