Bought this for our school's multicultural event and it was a real showstopper! The kids adored the little skull and marigold accents. It's quite compact but the 3-tier design makes excellent use of space. Just be careful with the delicate cut-out panels during assembly.

Adorable but be warned - the candle holder is purely decorative (no actual candles included). The bread and flower pieces are my favourite details. It's currently displayed in our bay window getting compliments from passersby! Might buy another as a gift for my sister.

Lovely decorative piece though smaller than expected - the photos make it look more substantial. That said, the included ornaments are beautifully painted and the whole set has a charming handmade feel. Works perfectly as a centrepiece for our dining table during the season.

Absolutely love this altar! The colours are so vibrant and the wooden craftsmanship is surprisingly sturdy. The papel picado detailing is gorgeous - really captures the spirit of Día de Muertos. Only minor gripe is the assembly instructions could be clearer, but once set up it looks stunning on our mantelpiece.

Great value for money! The wood is better quality than I anticipated at this price point. Took me about 20 minutes to assemble while watching telly - the joints fit together nicely. My Mexican partner says it's quite authentic looking, which is the best compliment really!
